I would like to take this time to invite you to participate in our Summer Basketball League.
This year will be our 9th year hosting this summer program. The last 8 years have been very successful and enjoyable for those involved. This year we are looking to expand the league to involve more young players and more organizations.
Our league is open for all ages; we have the teams from last year and hope to add more. Last year we had teams at the following age groups, 5TH & 6TH GRADE, 7TH & 8TH GRADE, 9TH thru 12th HIGH SCHOOL. The league is open to both Boy’s and Girl’s at the pre mentioned age groups. You will participate in the age group that you will be in for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me.
The league will start the week of July 11th, and will finish the week of Sept.12th. This should be after any Baseball playoffs. We will be trying to have 8 teams at each age group if possible. This will give us a season of 9 weeks. We will play one night per week at the Penn/Crisp Gym. Each player will receive a Summer League shirt with number. There will be no need for uniforms. Basketballs will be provided for warm-ups and the games.
PLEASE TELL YOUR PARENTS THAT NO BALLS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYM
The fee for the league is $500.00 per team. Team rosters are limited to a maximum of 12 players. Ref fees will be paid by the league.
